Travel CVOR Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Pediatric CVOR Surgical Technologist will support pediatric surgical services in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit serves neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in 16 rooms and uses Cerner charting.

• Prepare the sterile field and surgical setup for pediatric cases
• Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular, ENT, GI, neuro, ortho, GU, and general procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique, sterilization, and high-level disinfection standards
• Handle specimens, counts, and labeling according to universal protocol
• Support instrument reprocessing, decontamination, and equipment readiness
• Follow fire, laser, and radiation safety practices in the operating room

• NBSTSA certification and BLS certification
• One year of pediatric surgical technologist experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Trauma Level II experience
• Prior travel experience
• Pediatric general and cardiac OR case experience with appendectomy, hernia repair, tonsillectomy, cleft lip and palate repair, rhinoplasty, frenulectomy, fracture reductions, arterial switch, coarctation repair, tetralogy of Fallot repair, ventricular septal defect repair, and tracheostomy
