Travel CVOR Tech in Aurora, CO

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in open heart surgery in a hospital in Aurora, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit supports 1:1 patient care, uses Meditech and CPN charting, and handles CABG, AAA, TAVR and valve replacements.

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular procedures and maintain sterile technique
• Assist the surgical team during CABG, AAA, TAVR and valve replacement cases
• Pass instruments, supplies and implants during open heart procedures
• Support patient positioning, draping and case turnover
• Monitor sterile field, counts and equipment readiness
• Communicate with the team to support safe, efficient cardiac surgery

• Current Colorado surgical technologist credential through DORA
• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 1 year of current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience
• Open heart surgical experience

• Meditech charting experience
• Travel CVOR Tech experience in large trauma facilities
• Cardiovascular surgical experience
