Travel CVOR RN in Portland, OR

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will assist with adult cardiac surgery cases in an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit uses Epic, maintains a 1:1 ratio, and is in a teaching hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Scrub and circulate for adult cardiovascular surgery cases
• Support CABG, valve, aortic, MAZE, transplant, and pericardial window procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and follow universal protocol
• Handle specimens, blood products, and surgical counts as assigned
• Operate with cardiovascular equipment, including electrosurgical units, IABP, and Steris systems
• Coordinate with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and transport teams

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of CVOR experience
• Cardiac scrub experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• Hybrid OR experience
• LVAD and RVAD support
• Atherectomy experience
• Atrial septal defect repair experience
