Travel CVOR RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will assist in cardiac operating room cases in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The hospital is a Magnet, Level II trauma unit that uses Epic, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room for cardiac cases
• Assist with CABG, valve replacement, MAZE, TAVR, and septal defect repair
• Maintain sterile technique and universal protocol
• Support blood product use, cell saver, and specimen handling
• Monitor fire, laser, and radiation safety practices
• Document intraoperative care and wound management

• Alaska Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• BLS and ACLS
• 1 year of CVOR experience
• Cardiac surgery experience with CABG, valve replacement, MAZE, TAVR, and septal defect repair
• Aseptic technique, blood product administration, cell saver, specimen handling, wound management, and safety protocol skills
