Travel CVOR RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will circulate in a cardiovascular operating room in Indianapolis, Indiana for a 13-week contract. The unit cares for adults and geriatrics and supports heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO. Cerner is used for charting.

• Circulate during cardiovascular surgeries
• Prepare the operating room and support case setup
• Assist with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO cases
• Support endovascular procedures and other OR specialties
• Monitor patients and maintain a safe sterile field
• Document care in Cerner

• BLS
• Indiana Registered Nurse license, compact license, or Indiana temporary license before start
• 2 years of CVOR experience
• Level I trauma experience for first-time travelers
• Heart and lung procedure experience
• Aortic aneurysm repair experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Endovascular procedure experience
