Travel CVOR RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will provide circulating care for complex cardiovascular surgical cases in a hospital operating room in Indianapolis, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a Level I trauma center, has 24 rooms, and uses Cerner.

• Circulate complex cardiovascular and transplant procedures
• Prepare the operating room for valve, transplant, and aortic dissection cases
• Support cannulation setup and receive pump lines from perfusion
• Monitor adult and geriatric surgical patients during intraoperative care
• Collaborate with surgeons and the perioperative team on CVOR cases

• Indiana Registered Nurse license or compact Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of CVOR experience
• Heart and lung transplant experience
• Aortic aneurysm repair experience
• Prior travel experience and Level I trauma experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Cerner charting system experience
