Travel CVOR RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will assist with cardiac surgery care in an operating room at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The unit focuses on cardiac surgery cases and perioperative collaboration in a fast-paced operating room.

• Prepare the operating room for cardiac and open heart procedures
• Assist the surgical team during CVOR cases
• Maintain a sterile field and support aseptic technique
• Circulate cases and coordinate perioperative patient care
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and room readiness
• Document care and communicate patient status during handoffs

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CVOR and open heart experience

• TNCC certification
