Travel CVOR RN in Houston, TX

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will support circulating care in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Houston, Texas. The unit includes 2 CVOR rooms within a 14-room operating room, uses Meditech ORM, and works at a 1:1 patient ratio.

• Circulate CVOR and other complex surgical cases
• Support general surgery, ENT, urology, gynecology, orthopedic and robotics procedures
• Prepare the operating room with supplies and equipment
• Monitor the sterile field and assist the surgical team during procedures
• Document intraoperative care in Meditech ORM
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia and scrub staff

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 2 years of OR circulating experience in an acute care hospital
• Circulating skills in general surgery, ENT, urology, gynecology, orthopedics and robotics

• CVOR experience
• CNOR certification
• More than 5 years of operating room experience
