About this job

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will assist with cardiac operating room care during a 13-week contract in Denton, Texas. The acute care hospital unit uses Meditech and works with 1:1 patient ratios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Circulate cardiac operating room cases and support workflows
  • Prepare the room, instruments and sterile supplies
  • Support surgeons and anesthesia during intraoperative care
  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes
  • Document care and case details in Meditech
  • Assist with CABG procedures and other heart cases
  • Coordinate case setup, readiness and turnover

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Registered Nurse license
  • Circulating heart surgery experience
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
  • Strong sterile technique, communication and teamwork skills
