Travel CVOR RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will provide perioperative support in the CVOR unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and typically manages 3-4 patient assignments with admission holds. It supports complex adult and pediatric heart and thoracic cases.

• Prepare and support cardiovascular operating room cases
• Assist with coronary bypass, valve replacement, transplant, TAVR, and thoracic procedures
• Support adult and pediatric heart cases and vascular assist device cases
• Monitor patient status and coordinate perioperative care with the surgical team
• Maintain sterile technique and safe room turnover
• Document care and case details in Meditech
• Assist with cell saver use and pump-related support

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience
• Heart transplant experience
• Cardiovascular operating room nursing experience

• Heart and pediatric heart experience
• Intra-aortic balloon pump experience
• Cell saver experience
• Meditech experience
