Travel CVOR RN in Greenville, SC

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will support cardiac surgery in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Greenville, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and averages about 3 cases per day.

• Assist with cardiovascular surgical cases, including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, aneurysm repair, and MAZE procedures
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and specialized equipment for the sterile field
• Maintain aseptic technique and support Universal Protocol timeouts
• Handle specimens and labeling with attention to safety protocols
• Assist with cell saver, femoral cannulation, IABP, and laser and radiation safety practices
• Support counting, mesh measuring, and checks for retained or additional foreign objects

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of CVOR experience and prior travel experience
• Competency with Universal Protocol, specimen handling and labeling, and cardiothoracic operating room skills

• ACLS certification
• CNOR certification
• First Assist, General OR, scrub cardiovascular surgery, or trauma experience
