Travel CVOR RN in South Carolina

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will support complex cardiovascular surgery in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit cares for adults, uses EPIC, and functions as a Level I trauma center, teaching, Magnet hospital with 10 rooms and about 28 visits per day.

• Circulate complex adult cardiac, thoracic, transplant, and vascular cases
• Assist with scrub support for cardiovascular and vascular procedures as needed
• Prepare the room, instruments, and supplies for each case
• Maintain sterile technique and safe intraoperative flow
• Document perioperative care in EPIC
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical teams
• Support minimally invasive and specialty surgical cases

• South Carolina or multistate Registered Nurse license in hand at start
• BLS and ACLS through AHA
• 2+ years of CVOR experience
• Experience circulating complex cardiac and vascular cases
• Community hospital experience
• EPIC charting experience

• Cardiovascular surgery scrubbing
• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma, Level II trauma, and LTAC experience
