Travel CVOR RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will support complex cardiovascular surgery in a hospital CVOR on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 6 ORs, uses Cerner, and serves a Magnet hospital with a comprehensive stroke center and Level II trauma center.

• Circulate cardiovascular operating room cases
• Assist with scrub and first assist duties when assigned
• Prepare the sterile field and room for cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Coordinate instruments, supplies, and equipment for complex surgical cases
• Support procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, VAD, TAVR, and thoracic surgery
• Monitor patient safety and communicate with the surgical team throughout the case

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Extensive CVOR circulator experience
