Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for high-acuity cardiac patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 16 beds, uses Cerner, and commonly staffs 1:1 or 2:1 ratios with advanced support equipment.

• Monitor critically ill cardiac patients and respond to changes in condition
• Titrate vasoactive drips, sedation, and paralytics as ordered
• Manage care for patients on ventilators, trachs, telemetry, CRRT, IABP, and Impella support
• Assess hemodynamics and support PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Assist with cardioversion, central line insertion, chest tube care, and related procedures
• Interpret telemetry and collaborate with the care team on complex ICU needs

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ICU experience
• Proficiency with ventilators, trachs, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with pressors, sedation, paralytics, and PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• CCRN certification
• IABP experience
• Impella experience
• CRRT experience
