A Travel Clinical Lab Scientist Medical Laboratory Scientist will collect and prepare blood samples in an acute care hospital laboratory for a 13-week contract in Lapeer, Michigan. The role supports specimen processing, lab information system entry, and quality control while assisting with designated laboratory testing. It works with blood drawing and specimen handling in a clean, accreditation-focused setting.

• Collect blood samples using skin puncture and venipuncture
• Verify patient information and label specimen tubes accurately
• Process specimens according to established laboratory guidelines
• Enter collection and specimen data into the lab information system
• Assist medical technologists and pathologists with designated tests
• Maintain sterile trays, equipment, and a clean work area

• BLS certification
• ASCP certification
• Training or experience in clinical laboratory specimen collection
