Travel Clinical Lab Scientist in Pontiac, MI

A Travel Clinical Lab Scientist Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform laboratory testing and analysis in an acute care hospital laboratory on a 13-week contract in Pontiac, Michigan. The role supports chemistry, hematology, and transfusion testing with quality control and equipment monitoring in a clinical lab setting.

• Analyze blood, urine, spinal fluid, and gastric juice specimens
• Count and identify blood cells using microscopic techniques
• Perform blood typing, grouping, and compatibility testing
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and related equipment
• Track supplies and maintain laboratory inventory
• Follow QA/QI, infection control, and hazardous waste protocols

• BLS
• Clinical laboratory testing, specimen analysis, and quality control skills
