Travel Clinical Lab Scientist in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist will support a hospital laboratory on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The role covers bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology, parasitology, and blood bank work in an acute care setting.

• Perform clinical laboratory testing across bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology, and parasitology
• Review specimens and identify organisms using approved laboratory methods
• Assist with blood bank work and related testing workflows
• Document and verify results in the laboratory charting system
• Follow quality control and laboratory safety procedures
• Communicate critical findings to support patient care

• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
• ASCP MT certification
• 3 years recent experience in bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology, and parasitology
• Hospital clinical laboratory experience
• Charting system experience
