Travel Clinical Lab Scientist in Fullerton, CA

A Travel Clinical Lab Scientist will perform generalist laboratory testing in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fullerton, California. Epic charting is used in a generalist clinical laboratory setting.

• Perform generalist clinical laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, and urinalysis workflows
• Process, label, and prepare specimens for analysis
• Run manual differentials, microscopic urinalysis, and other manual tests
• Review quality control, reagents, and instrument performance
• Report and verify test results in Epic
• Handle blood and body fluid specimens according to lab protocols

• ASCP-MLT certification
• California state license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of hospital clinical laboratory experience
• Epic charting experience

• Automated coagulation analyzer experience
• Beckman instrument experience
• Digital cell morphology system experience
