Travel CCU RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Coronary Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care for cardiac patients in a hospital coronary care unit on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has a 1:2 ratio and uses Meditech, with balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia support.

• Monitor cardiac status and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips and other ordered therapies
• Assist with balloon pump, CRRT, and hypothermia care
• Support cardioversion, central line care, and other invasive cardiac procedures
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the chart

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience

• Meditech experience
• Experience in a large ICU environment
