Travel CCU RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Coronary Care Registered Nurse will provide care for acute cardiac patients in a cardiovascular care unit on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The 28-bed unit also serves cath lab patients and stroke overflow, with typical assignments of 4:1 to 5:1 and Meditech charting.

• Monitor and assess acute cardiac and stroke overflow patients
• Administer medications and support telemetry-based care
• Assist with cath lab recovery needs and related cardiac procedures
• Maintain central line, Foley, and infection-prevention practices
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Use safety equipment and lift aids as needed
• Support teamwork, courtesy, and patient education

• Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
