Travel CCU RN in Visalia, CA

A Travel Coronary Care Registered Nurse will provide rapid response and critical care support in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Visalia, California. The role responds to code blue, sepsis, trauma, and stroke alerts while helping stabilize medically complex patients. It works with an interdisciplinary team to support safe transfers and ongoing patient care.

• Respond to code blue, RRT, sepsis, trauma, and stroke alerts
• Assess critically ill patients and direct stabilization efforts
• Communicate patient changes and orders using SBAR
• Coordinate with physicians, intensivists, and nursing staff
• Round on at-risk patients and support debriefings
• Collect quality data and contribute to improvement work
• Educate staff on emergency response and mock codes

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS stroke certification from American Stroke Association
• Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training
• CCRN from American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
• Minimum of two years of RN experience in Critical Care

• Trauma Nursing Core Course provider card
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, or enrollment in RN-BSN program
