Travel CCU RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Coronary Care Registered Nurse will provide acute cardiac nursing care in a hospital on a 6-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The 26-bed unit uses Meditech and typically supports a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia care are part of the setting.

• Monitor cardiac patients and respond to changes in status
• Administer and titrate medication drips
• Support care for balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia therapies
• Assist with heart caths, cardioversion, and central line care
• Manage hemodynamic monitoring and chart nursing care
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver ICU-level nursing care

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• 1-year current hospital ICU experience, including Neuro ICU experience

• Meditech experience
• Experience in a large facility ICU
