Travel CCU RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Coronary Care Registered Nurse will provide intensive cardiac care in a hospital coronary care unit on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The 26-bed unit uses Meditech and cares for patients needing advanced cardiac support and renal replacement therapies. Patient ratios are 1:2.

• Assess cardiac status and monitor for changes
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips
• Support care for patients with balloon pumps and CRRT
• Assist with cardioversion and heart cath recovery
• Support hypothermia protocols and advanced cardiac care
• Manage central lines and document care in Meditech

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 1-year current hospital ICU experience

• Meditech experience
• Large-facility ICU travel experience
