Travel Cath Lab Tech in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Cath Lab Technologist will support invasive cardiac procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The unit serves an adult and geriatric patient population in 3 procedure rooms and 1 dedicated EP lab. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Scrub and assist during cardiac cath and intervention cases
• Support structural heart, peripheral vascular, and EP procedures
• Prepare access sites, equipment, supplies, and the sterile field
• Monitor patients during fluoroscopy and invasive procedures
• Assist with device implants, ablations, and vascular studies

• 2 years of Cath Lab, Structural Heart, and EP experience
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• ARRT Radiography certification
• Fluoroscopy permit
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist license

• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Vascular closure systems
• EP lab experience
