Travel Cath Lab Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel Cath Lab Tech Radiologic Technologist will assist with coronary and peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures in an acute care hospital in Eureka, California on a 26-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, averages 6 patients daily, has 2 rooms, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures
• Prepare the room and maintain a sterile field
• Support coronary catheterizations, PCI, and pacemaker procedures
• Monitor patients and assist with hemodynamic monitoring
• Set up equipment and supplies for complex procedures
• Provide assistance with fluoroscopy-based procedures
• Collaborate with the care team during adult cardiovascular cases

• 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• ARRT R certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• California fluoroscopy permit or pending permit
• Experience with adult diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, and pacemaker procedures
• Scrub skills and sterile field maintenance

• CCI RCIS credential
• Epic charting system experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience
• Coil embolization and peripheral intervention experience
