Travel Cath Lab Tech in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel Cath Lab Technologist will support cardiac, EP, neuro and IR procedures in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Santa Monica, California. The unit is a STEMI and stroke receiving center with 4 labs, Epic charting and adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. First-time travelers are welcome in a beachside setting.

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support STEMI, stroke, neuro and IR cases
• Prepare rooms, equipment and sterile field for procedures
• Monitor hemodynamics and record baseline measurements
• Circulate and scrub during invasive procedures
• Coordinate access site prep, pacing and device support

• ACLS and BLS certification
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist or RCIS
• Fluoro Permit
• Current California state license
• Minimum of 1 year acute care Cath Lab experience
• Community hospital experience

• Carotid angiography and carotid stenting
• ECMO, EP lab and embolization experience
• Impella insertion, EKG lead placement and thrombolysis or thrombectomy
• TAVR experience
