Per Diem Cath Lab Tech in Los Angeles, CA

A Per Diem Cath Lab Tech Registered Technologist will assist with invasive cardiac and vascular procedures in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California. The unit supports inpatient and outpatient cases with Allscripts charting and scrub and circulate responsibilities. The role covers a broad mix of cardiac, peripheral, and structural heart work.

• Scrub and circulate during cath lab procedures
• Assist with cardiac, peripheral, and vascular interventions
• Monitor EKG rhythms and obtain vital signs
• Support left and right heart catheterization cases
• Help with angioplasty, PCI, thrombectomy, and device placement
• Document patient information in the charting system

• ARRT certification
• BLS and ACLS
• Fluoroscopy permit
• 1 year of community hospital or STEMI setting experience
• EPIC experience

• Cardiac monitor management
• Pacemaker and defibrillator device placement
• Cardioversion and hemodynamic monitoring
• Allscripts or MERGE charting experience
