Travel Cath Lab Tech in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Cath Lab Tech Cardiovascular Technologist will support cardiac procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, has 4 procedure rooms, and uses Allscripts charting for structural heart and EP work. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Scrub for cardiac catheterization, structural heart, and EP procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cath cases, including PCI and angiography
• Prepare access sites, equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures
• Support TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and peripheral vascular interventions
• Help with EP ablations and device implant cases
• Monitor fluoroscopy workflow and maintain sterile technique

• 2 years of cath lab, structural heart, and EP experience
• BLS and ACLS
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Radiography certification
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist license
• Fluoroscopy permit
• Epic charting experience

• Hybrid OR experience
• Dialysis graft interventions
• Thrombolysis and thrombectomy experience
• Vascular closure device use
