Travel Cardiology RN in San Jose, CA

A Travel Cardiology Registered Nurse will care for telemetry and PCU patients in a hospital in San Jose, California on a 13-week contract. The unit has 80 beds, uses Meditech, and serves post-op open heart, stroke, PCI, and other cardiac patients with 4:1 telemetry and 3:1 PCU ratios.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes promptly
• Provide nursing care for cardiac, stroke, and post-op patients
• Assist with chest tube care, wound vacs, and TR bands
• Support dysphagia screening and other unit procedures
• Document assessments and interventions in the charting system
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team to maintain safe patient flow

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• 1.5-2 years of telemetry experience

• PCU, telemetry, and stroke experience
• Meditech experience
