Travel Cardiology RN in Kingwood, TX

A Travel Cardiology Registered Nurse will provide care in a cardiac telemetry unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kingwood, Texas. The 28-bed unit uses Meditech and typically staffs at 1:5-6. Telemetry monitoring and wound care are routine.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Assess patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and ordered therapies
• Perform wound care and support recovery
• Document care in the medical record
• Coordinate with nurses, providers and support staff
• Educate patients and families on care needs

• Current Texas Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Caring, compassionate bedside approach
• Team-oriented clinical communication

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
