Travel Burn ICU RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Burn ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adult burn patients in an acute care hospital on a 13 week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 6-bed mixed-acuity unit uses Meditech and cares for level 1 trauma, stroke and cardiac patients. Travel nurses are welcome in a multidisciplinary burn care setting.

• Provide critical care for adult burn patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics
• Titrate drips and support CRRT care
• Assist with debridement, dressing changes and line care
• Support chest tube maintenance and post-op care
• Collaborate on bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary care

• Missouri Registered Nurse license and graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC and NIH certification
• ICU level of care experience
• CRRT training and hemodynamic monitoring
• Hemodynamic drip titration proficiency
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills

• Burn ICU experience
• ABLS certification
