Travel Burn ICU RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Burn ICU Registered Nurse will provide direct care in a burn trauma ICU at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The unit has 30 beds, uses Meditech, and cares for ICU and PCU patients with 2:1 and 4:1 ratios.

• Assess and monitor burn and trauma ICU patients
• Deliver wound care and support complex critical care needs
• Assist with codes, EVDs, and massive transfusion protocol
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and care team
• Communicate changes in patient condition clearly and promptly
• Use critical thinking to prioritize treatment and interventions

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Trauma, burn, and surgical ICU experience
• Communication and critical thinking skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• CCRN certification
