Travel Behavioral Health RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will provide care on a locked forensic hospital unit in Nashville, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit serves an incarcerated population, uses Cerner, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Assess behavioral health and forensic patients
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• De-escalate agitation and maintain safety
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Support treatment plans with the care team
• Document assessments and interventions in Cerner
• Provide culturally responsive care to a diverse patient population

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of nursing experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CPI certification or MAB in lieu of CPI
• Cerner charting system experience
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management

• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Charge nurse experience
