Travel Behavioral Health RN in Clarksburg, WV

A Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will provide care for adults in a psychiatric hospital on a 13-week contract in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The unit serves patients with schizoaffective, bipolar, mood, and psychotic disorders, and mechanical restraints may be used when needed. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess adult behavioral health patients and monitor safety
• Administer medications and support therapeutic interventions
• Use de-escalation techniques and respond to behavioral changes
• Follow seclusion and physical hold protocols as needed
• Document care in the charting system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and support treatment plans

• West Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1.5 years of behavioral health nursing experience
• CPI and First Aid completion during orientation
• Experience with adult psych, medication administration, seclusion protocols, physical holds, and charting systems

• Previous charge nurse experience
