Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse will support operating room care in an ambulatory surgery unit at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. First-time travelers are welcome, and the role supports surgical patients through pre-op and recovery care.

• Prepare patients for ambulatory surgical procedures
• Assist with perioperative care in the operating room and recovery areas
• Monitor sedation, pain, vital signs, and cardiac rhythm
• Support anesthesia care, including conscious sedation and nerve blocks
• Administer and evaluate medications, reversal agents, and narcotic management
• Document care and coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia staff

• Washington Registered Nurse license or compact license
• BLS
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Ambulatory, outpatient, inpatient, pre-op, and perioperative clinical skills
• Dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Pain assessment and medication management skills

• ACLS
• Admitting and Phase II experience
