Per Diem ICU RN in Torrance, CA

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital in Torrance, California. Epic charting is used, and the unit cares for neuro and cardiovascular patients with complex ICU needs.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret dysrhythmias
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, and IV access
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Care for ventilated patients and assist with BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC
• Support stroke, seizure, and post-neurosurgery patients
• Perform ABG interpretation, EVD care, and ICP monitoring
• Maintain isolation precautions and safe PPE use

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 1 year of ICU Registered Nurse experience
• Epic charting experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
