Travel Wound Care RN in Mcallen, TX

A Travel Wound Care Registered Nurse will provide wound care support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in McAllen, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and manages wound debridement, advanced dressing applications, wound VACs, ABI Dopplers, and pressure relief systems.

• Assess wounds and document findings
• Assist with wound debridement and dressing changes
• Apply wound VACs and compression systems
• Support ABI Doppler studies
• Monitor skin integrity and healing progress
• Collaborate with the care team on wound treatment plans

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Wound Care Certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Interdisciplinary wound care collaboration skills
