Travel Ultrasound Tech in Petaluma, CA

A Travel Ultrasound Tech with ARDMS certification will support general diagnostic imaging in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Petaluma, California. The role serves adolescents and adults in an ultrasound unit and uses Epic charting.

• Perform general ultrasound examinations across abdominal, vascular, obstetric, and small-parts studies
• Assist with bedside, portable, and emergency department imaging needs
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and position equipment for ordered studies
• Support ultrasound-guided biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
• Capture quality images and send studies through PACS
• Document exam details and collaborate with the care team

• ARDMS certification in at least one specialty area
• BLS certification
• 2 years of ultrasound tech experience
• Community hospital experience
• PACS experience
• General, obstetric, vascular, and small-parts ultrasound experience

• ARRT R and RVT certifications
• Epic charting system experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Obstetric measurement experience, including amniotic fluid index and placenta previa
