Travel Ultrasound Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Ultrasound Tech Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will perform general sonographic imaging for pediatric patients in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults, has 1 room, and uses Cerner charting.

• Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment for general imaging
• Position pediatric patients to obtain requested diagnostic images
• Follow physician instructions during examinations
• Perform independent sonographic scans and capture clear images
• Support care for neonates through adults with respectful communication
• Adapt positioning techniques when routine positioning is not possible

• ARDMS certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program
• 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Skill in pediatric sonography and equipment maneuvering

• ARDMS RVT certification
• Experience with Cerner charting
• Experience with first trimester, spine, thyroid, transvaginal, uterine, vaginal, and portable ultrasound
