Travel Ultrasound Tech in Athol, MA

A Travel Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic sonography in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Athol, Massachusetts. The department uses Meditech and serves neonatal through geriatric patients.

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across neonatal to geriatric patients
• Review physician orders and confirm the correct exam
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors and transducers
• Optimize image quality, measurements, and required documentation
• Enter orders, charges, and patient information in Meditech
• Maintain safe patient care and support timely patient flow

• ARDMS registration in Ultrasound Technology
• ARDMS abdomen certification
• ARDMS obstetrics certification
• Active Massachusetts state license
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound or radiology technology program
• BLS within 6 months of hire

• Previous ultrasound procedure experience or equivalent experience
