Travel Ultrasound Tech in Denton, TX

A Travel Ultrasound Tech Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will support ultrasound studies in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denton, Texas. The unit uses GE imaging equipment and Meditech charting and performs abdominal, vascular, pelvic, renal, obstetric, and testicular studies.

• Perform abdominal, vascular, pelvic, renal, obstetric, and testicular ultrasound studies
• Assist with paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and drainages as assigned
• Acquire high-quality images and document study results in the charting system
• Prepare patients and explain procedures with clear communication and professionalism
• Maintain equipment readiness and follow unit imaging protocols
• Collaborate with the care team to support timely diagnostic workflow

• ARDMS certification in abdomen and vascular imaging, RVT, and BLS
• 2 years of ultrasound experience
• 2 years of travel experience
• Strong time management, reliability, and patient care skills

• GE equipment experience
• Paracentesis and thoracentesis experience
• Biopsy experience
• Drainage procedure experience
