Travel Ultrasound Tech in Boston, MA

A Travel Ultrasound Technologist Registered Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Boston, Massachusetts. The role covers abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and vascular imaging, with experience in transplants, Doppler studies, and renal artery stenosis.

• Perform abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and vascular ultrasound exams
• Review orders and charts, select appropriate equipment and transducers, and prepare patients for imaging
• Interview patients, explain procedures, and position patients for accurate studies
• Assist physicians during sterile invasive ultrasound-guided procedures
• Record images and document preliminary findings for diagnostic review
• Maintain high-level disinfection of transducers and infection control practices

• ARDMS certification or verification
• BLS certification
• Ultrasound experience with transplants, Doppler studies, and renal artery stenosis
• Experience in abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and vascular ultrasound
• Strong patient interviewing, positioning, and communication skills
