Travel Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for neuroscience and neurosurgical patients in a hospital unit on a 16-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit uses Epic, runs 1:5 ratios, and serves a heavy neuro population in a teaching level II trauma hospital.

• Monitor telemetry and identify rhythm changes
• Assess neurologic status and report changes promptly
• Care for post-surgical neurology, stroke, and neuro stepdown patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP support and chest tube care
• Complete NIHSS assessments and support procedural sedation monitoring
• Administer medications and document care in Epic

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• Experience with neuro stepdown, stroke, and post-neurosurgery patients
• Epic charting system experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation, BiPAP/CPAP management, and procedural sedation monitoring
