Travel Telemetry RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will support a neuroscience med surg/telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 36-bed unit uses Cerner and standard med surg equipment, with typical ratios of 5:1 to 7:1.

• Monitor telemetry patients and report changes in condition
• Complete focused neurological and medical-surgical assessments
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Assist with Foley insertion and IV starts
• Document care and patient response in Cerner
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, CNAs and unit clerk

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS
• NIH certification
• Telemetry nursing skills

• Neuro experience
