Travel Telemetry RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for neuroscience patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 36-bed unit uses Cerner and generally staffs 5:1 to 7:1 ratios. The hospital is a Magnet-designated, Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

• Monitor telemetry and neurological status
• Assess patients and report changes in condition
• Administer medications and support routine nursing care
• Start IVs and assist with Foley insertion as needed
• Document care in Cerner
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe, efficient workflow

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Telemetry and neuroscience nursing skills

• Neuroscience experience
