Travel Telemetry RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide neuro telemetry nursing care in a hospital neurosciences unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 36 beds, uses Cerner, and typically staffs 5:1 to 6:1 ratios. The hospital is Magnet designated and serves as a Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

• Monitor neurological and telemetry status throughout care
• Assess patients and report changes promptly to the team
• Provide bedside care for neuro telemetry patients
• Assist with Foley insertion and IV starts
• Document assessments and interventions in Cerner
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and providers

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong neuro assessment skills
