Travel Telemetry RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in emergency department holding on a cardiac telemetry and stroke unit during a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. Epic charting is used in a high-volume setting with 64 beds and an average daily census of 56.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Provide stroke and telemetry-focused nursing care
• Administer oxygen, non-invasive airway support, and tracheostomy care
• Perform IV, central line, PICC, and port care
• Support blood products, heparin, and insulin protocols

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Cardiac telemetry, stroke, and dysrhythmia management skills

• Emergency department holding experience
• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, or LTAC experience
• Trauma level I or II experience
