Travel Telemetry RN in San Jose, CA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care on a hospital telemetry unit in San Jose, California for a 13-week contract. The unit cares for telemetry and PCU patients, with a 4:1 telemetry ratio, Meditech charting, and a mix of stroke, post-op cardiac, and surgical cases.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Provide direct care for telemetry and PCU patients
• Assist with angiograms, PCIs, and post-op cardiac care
• Support care for stroke, surgical, and open-heart patients
• Manage chest tubes, wound vacs, and TR band care
• Document care and patient responses in Meditech

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certification
• 1.5-2 years of telemetry nursing experience

• PCU and stroke care experience
• Meditech charting experience
