Travel Surgical Tech in Wichita, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist will assist labor and delivery procedures in a hospital birth care unit in Wichita, Kansas, on a 13-week contract. The unit has 20 beds, patient ratios of 1:4 for postpartum and 1:1 for labor, and uses Meditech.

• Prepare the sterile field for vaginal and cesarean section care
• Assist the team during labor, delivery, and postpartum support
• Set up and maintain fetal monitoring equipment and warmers
• Pass instruments and supplies to the circulating team
• Clean and restock procedure areas between cases
• Communicate patient needs with the nursing team

• Minimum 6 months of current labor and delivery surgical technologist experience
• BLS
• NBSTA certification
• Active Kansas licensure

• Newborn care
• Fetal monitor experience
• NRP
• Cesarean section circulating OR experience
