Travel Surgical Tech in Wichita, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Certified Surgical Technologist will assist with high-risk labor and cesarean care in an acute care hospital in Wichita, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The unit handles c-sections, antepartum, PPROM, PTL, and postpartum patients on mag, and uses CPN Gold and Meditech.

• Prepare the sterile field and surgical supplies for labor and delivery procedures
• Assist the surgical team during cesarean sections, inductions, cesarean hysterectomies, and D&C
• Pass instruments and supplies during operative and emergent deliveries
• Support care for high-risk labor and postpartum patients with mag needs
• Set up and maintain specialty equipment, carts, and monitors
• Help maintain workflow, turnover, and unit readiness in the delivery room

• Minimum 6 months of current labor and delivery surgical technologist experience
• BLS certification
• NBSTA certification
• Active Kansas licensure

• Circulating cesarean section experience
• More than 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• High-risk LDR experience
